Good morning to all registered participants of the GRAND RAID CRO MAGNON.
It is with great regret that we inform all those registered for the 100 km Grand Raid that:
Due to recent administrative decisions beyond our control, the race will unfortunately not be allowed to cross French territory as originally planned.
Months of work thrown away, important economic investments for nothing, dozens of people who have worked over the last few days to clean the trails, the balancing, the organisation of the refreshments and not only that, a lot of work…
But let’s not let it all go to waste, the MINI CRO is still on the programme, which we will also open to those registered for the Grand Raid.
So the programme for Friday remains unchanged, opening of the race office in Piazza Municipio in Limone P.te at 14:30, briefing at 19:00 at the theatre La Confraternita, unchanged the possibility to spend the night at the school of Limone, for those who will have necessity we will provide to buy the ticket for the train Limone/Airole at 09:19 with arrival at 11:00.
The opening of the race office in Airole will be at 12:00 noon, where all competitors can collect their race packet and bib without distinction, both those of the GRCM and logically those of the MINI CRO.
The start will still be given at 15:00 for everyone.
The classification will be unique but with double the number of prizewinners: the first and first 10 overall and the first and first 6 of the Over 50 category.
We are infinitely sorry, we are desolate and discouraged but we must continue, it will still be a good party!
